Job Summary

Koniag Professional Services LLC is seeking a skilled Project Manager to support our government customer in Washington, DC. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for facilitating and coordinating activities in a PMO setting, implementing Agile practices to streamline workflow processes, and utilizing project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project management plans, including work breakdown structures and comprehensive project plans.
  • Collaborate with team members to run and manage projects efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of project objectives.
  • Implement and execute effective operations support across all sub-tasks to ensure uptime of the client enterprise environment.
  • Decrease the likelihood and impact of risks within the environment and focus on implementing innovative, cloud-first methodologies for modernizing client's technical infrastructure.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Management within a technical enterprise environment.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage projects within a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the capability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Working Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
