Job Title: Project Engineer

As a key member of our construction project team, the Project Engineer will be responsible for ensuring a safe work environment, managing project changes and punchlists, producing and organizing project management and contractual documents, establishing and administering the submittal process, coordinating inspections, and monitoring project billing.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and prioritize tasks to achieve high-quality, timely results within the context of project management.
  • Ensure dependability and punctuality for all work-related commitments.
  • Develop productive relationships with the project team, contractors, design teams, and clients.
  • Ensure accuracy of project documentation and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, professional demeanor, and appearance, and perform well under project constraints and deadlines.
  • Utilize strong computer skills with Microsoft Office and a working knowledge of project management software.
  • Apply solid numerical and analytical skills to achieve project budgeting and basic estimating for project scope changes.
  • Pursue related educational and training opportunities for job performance improvements and share knowledge with the team.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • One or more years of construction project management related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Experience with construction management, requests for proposals, change orders, project management, budgeting, and document control.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
