Maintenance Supervisor Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at RATP Dev USA. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations and personnel employed in the maintenance department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise maintenance personnel and ensure that all work is performed in a professional, accurate, and timely manner.
  • Assist in the planning of future projects and financial needs, recognizing problem areas and recommending solutions.
  • Respond to emergency situations and direct road call responses and responses in industrial accidents and injuries.
  • Participate in monthly facility inspections and conduct safety training programs for personnel.
  • Assist the Director of Maintenance in administrative duties, including personnel management, assigning discipline, grievance handling, leave scheduling, etc.
Requirements:
  • High School graduate
  • Completion of two years program in diesel mechanics or equivalent experience.
  • Five years' experience as a supervisor in a vehicle maintenance shop.
  • Extensive experience in the repair of diesel engines, large vehicles, and OSHA and EPA regulations.
  • CDL with passenger endorsement
  • Must have excellent administrative and supervisory skills
Working Conditions:
  • Use of full ranges of hearing, speech, and vision
  • Use of fingers (manual dexterity) handling paperwork
  • Stoop, crouch, squat or kneel when performing inspections of any type
  • Bend at knee, hip, waist when performing duties
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs to waist level, carry 35lbs, climb ladders and stairs, lie on floor
  • Be subject to wet, cold or hot environmental conditions
  • Write reports in a coherent, legible way
