We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our Amazon Bedrock team at Amazon Web Services, Inc. - A97. As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for driving business growth and adoption of Amazon Bedrock solutions among startups in the western US.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to drive business growth and adoption of Amazon Bedrock solutions among startups in the western US.
  • Build and maintain relationships with startup executives and developers to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and effective execution of business development strategies.
  • Develop and deliver presentations, proposals, and other materials to communicate the value of Amazon Bedrock solutions to startup executives and developers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and identify opportunities to leverage Amazon Bedrock solutions to drive business growth and adoption.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of relevant business development, sales, or consulting experience.
  • 5+ years of technology domain experience in LLM, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and GenAI related fields.
  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to develop and execute business development strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Startup background and experience at a VC or PE-backed firm in a Product, BD, or Sales Executive capacity.
  • Established track record of building rapport with startup executives and closing strategic deals.
  • Familiarity with open-source software used by startups and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
  • Strong data-based storytelling skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with startup executives and developers.
  • Recognized industry expertise in primary discipline(s) with proven public speaking prowess.
  • Cloud expertise as demonstrated by one or more cloud certifications.
