About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team at Amazon Web Services, Inc. - A97. As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and adoption of AWS services among startups in the western US.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for AWS services among startups in the western US.
  • Build and maintain relationships with startup executives and developers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to drive business growth and adoption.
  • Provide technical thought leadership and expertise to customers, helping them to leverage AWS services to drive business success.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive business growth and innovation.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in business development, sales, or consulting, with a focus on cloud computing and startups.
  • 5+ years of technology domain experience in high-performance computing, AI/ML, math, or similar accelerated computing technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
