Key Responsibilities
  • Manage portfolios to meet performance standards consistent with funds' investment objectives, adhering to regulatory and compliance rules and client constraints.
  • Implement rebalance and reconstitutions, considering trading costs, tax implications, market impact, and other factors.
  • Monitor portfolio positioning, model drift/dispersion, cash management, and compliance within client guidelines.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of investment strategies managed and regularly review portfolios to analyze investment performance.
  • Contribute to the development of investment, operational, and system process enhancements.
  • Liaise with internal departments, including Trading, Operations, Product, Research, Legal/Compliance, and Sales/Marketing.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in the investment management industry.
  • 3+ years of portfolio management experience managing taxable SMAs for high-net-worth investors and/or managing ETFs, with a preference for equities.
  • BS/BA in a relevant field; graduate degree and/or industry certifications such as CFA preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of portfolio construction, indexing, ETF capital markets, trading, and operations.
  • Experience working with multi-factor risk models and portfolio optimizers, Factset, and/or other financial tools.
  • Experience managing funds with currency and futures/options overlays a plus.
  • Strong skills in Excel, Bloomberg, and investment analytical tools; familiarity with programming such as Python/SQL a plus.
  • Experience and understanding of allocation of duties between an investment advisor and sub-advisor a plus.
  • Knowledge of and passion for digital assets/crypto a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments while producing high-quality work in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • High degree of professional discretion, integrity, and judgement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, teamwork, and relationship-building skills.
