Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at South Palm Orthopedics, P.A. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles, with experience in maintaining financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record and post day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Verify transactions in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger.
  • Bring the books to the trial balance stage and perform partial checks of the posting process.
  • Enter data, maintain records, and prepare reports and financial statements.
  • Process accounts receivable and payable, and handle payroll in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Proven bookkeeping experience and a solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software, including QuickBooks.
  • Proficiency in English and MS Office.
  • Customer service orientation and negotiation skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
