We are seeking a skilled Desktop EUC Engineer to provide exceptional support in a pharmaceutical laboratory setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in end-user computing and system administration for lab equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver comprehensive support for lab benchtop systems and end-user computing.
- Act as the system administrator for laboratory computers and associated equipment.
- Facilitate the transition of services from previous suppliers, ensuring a seamless integration.
- Provide desktop support and operating systems assistance, maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Demonstrate expertise in Microsoft operating systems and related technologies.
- Support lab computers and equipment, leveraging extensive knowledge of IT hardware and software.
- Exhibit strong troubleshooting skills in network issues.
- Possess familiarity with Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 10, and the MS Office suite.
- Knowledge of Linux systems is advantageous.
- Manage SCCM patching, Active Directory, and antivirus tools, with proficiency in imaging and creating system images.
- Experience in deploying Windows 10 systems is essential.
- Participate in or lead operating system migrations, showcasing excellent communication skills and a strong customer-service focus.
- Understand the principles of customer service and service delivery.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and the ServiceNow tool is preferred.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role, demonstrating the ability to effectively support laboratory environments while ensuring high standards of service delivery.
