We are looking for a committed therapist to become part of our organization, dedicated to delivering exceptional therapeutic services to adolescents within a trauma-informed environment that prioritizes excellence in care and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Specialized Treatment Services: Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches.
2) Crisis Management: Utilize de-escalation and crisis intervention strategies to address client needs and ensure their safety and well-being.
3) Collaborative Teamwork: Actively participate in team meetings and collaborative projects, offering valuable insights and fostering constructive discussions.
4) Advocacy and Guidance: Advocate passionately for the needs of our youth, offering support and direction to aid their development and healing process.
5) Effective Communication: Maintain professional and clear communication with colleagues and community partners, promoting a culture of collaboration and respect.
6) Accurate Documentation: Ensure timely and precise documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory requirements.
Your Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited institution. Professional licensure (LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC) is mandatory.
- Demonstrated experience in providing a variety of therapeutic services in a clinical environment, with a commitment to trauma-informed, evidence-based, and LGBTQ+ affirming care.
- A dedication to ongoing learning and professional development, with enthusiasm for applying evidence-based practices in trauma-informed care.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including members of the LGBTQ+ community.
