Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Assistant II to join our team at the Kennedy Krieger Institute. As a Research Assistant II, you will be responsible for conducting rehabilitation research, data collection, analysis, and interpretation for various research studies and grants.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate the collection of primary outcome data for multicenter studies with regular contact with data coordinating center and/or site research coordinators.
  2. Assist with data tracking to ensure accurate data collection, adjudication, and data entry across studies and sites.
  3. Maintain and manage research databases of study participants.
  4. Conduct semi-structured telephone interviews and obtain outcome data for clinical studies.
  5. Coordinate Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications and maintain regulatory documents for IRB compliance for various research projects.
  6. Score, code, and verify data.
  7. Conduct research interviews and screen subjects for participation in various research studies.
  8. Recruit research subjects and coordinate research visits.
  9. Analyze behavioral data, generate reports, and build queries.
  10. Assist with planning and developing survey instruments.
  11. Participate in development of grant proposals and manuscript preparation including, but not limited to, conducting literature searches, performing data analyses, and assisting in the writing of manuscripts and grants.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree required.
  • Masters degree in psychology or related field preferred.
  • Experience coordinating investigator-initiated research protocols preferred.
  • Professional experience in a pediatric setting preferred.
  • Experience in child development preferred.
