About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Technical Product Manager to help us achieve our mission of ensuring all AWS services are secure and meet our customers' expectations at launch and in production.

This is a high-impact leadership position where you will enable AWS service teams to efficiently meet the security bar.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand customer and stakeholder needs
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to support planning and prioritization
  • Collaborate with software development teams to design, scope, build, and launch features
  • Build, maintain, and communicate the product roadmap
  • Balance competing priorities and make decisions that accelerate the team's velocity

Basic Qualifications
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition and with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience managing technical products or online services and representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
  • 5+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience and ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and turning ambiguous ideas into products
  • Excellent customer experience intuition to translate customer needs into crisp, detailed product requirements
  • Strong analytical skills to understand and solve complex business problems and ability to make trade-off decisions between customer experience and time-to-market
  • Experience with cloud services and/or security
