Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Material Handler to join our team at Graybar. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts to move inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Receive and store incoming material in accordance with warehouse management system processes.
- Select, pack, and palletize shipments to meet customer requirements.
- Sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments, conduct cycle counts, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all safety procedures and performing daily safety inspections.
Requirements:
- No fear of heights and ability to perform physical requirements in a warehouse environment, including lifting various loads, cutting wire, climbing ladders, and staying on the move in various temperatures.
- Minimum 18 years of age and good attendance and work ethic.
- 2+ years of experience preferred, with prior large warehouse experience using a warehouse management system a plus.
