ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Services Coordinator who is punctual, detail-oriented, and responsible. The ideal candidate will excel in welcoming clients, maintaining professionalism, and managing multiple tasks efficiently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitating patient check-ins for scheduled appointments.
  • Coordinating walk-in patients for imaging procedures.
  • Confirming patient eligibility for services.
  • Processing payments for co-pays and self-pay patients.
  • Performing general administrative and office duties.
  • Conducting chart reviews and preparing for confirmation calls.
  • Gathering necessary documentation related to patient exams.
  • Ensuring confirmation of patient appointments for the following day.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare front office setting.
  • Familiarity with imaging procedures and standards is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to maintain strong relationships with both providers and patients.
  • Background in customer service with a focus on patient satisfaction.
  • Experience with HMO, PPO, Medicare, and Medi-Cal systems.
  • Understanding of CPT and ICD-10 coding.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective interaction with staff and patients.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
