The Sales Consultant will play a crucial role in showcasing the advantages of the CARFAX product suite, instilling urgency among decision-makers, and successfully closing sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster relationships and collaborate with existing CARFAX Advantage clients, including independent and franchise automotive dealers.
  • Conduct visits to dealerships to inform them on how to utilize CARFAX Car Listings, CARFAX for Life, and other vehicle history products to enhance dealer inventory visibility and build buyer confidence in the used car market.
  • Drive sales of vehicle history products: consistently meet and surpass monthly sales targets; participate in sales competitions; enjoy the process.
  • Oversee an assigned sales territory; meticulously track and document activities and customer interactions in Salesforce CRM.
  • Achieve required monthly sales activity and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within media, advertising, or technology sectors; automotive industry experience is advantageous.
  • Aspirited and competitive nature; excellent communication, presentation, and persuasion skills; comprehensive understanding of CARFAX products; and a consultative sales methodology.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player.
  • Proficient in using technology, including laptops, tablets, and smartphones; skilled in MS Office applications; familiarity with Salesforce CRM is highly preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as part of the role.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is required.
