Job Summary

The Director of Human Resources will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the human resources function within Shop LC. This includes developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute HR strategies, policies, and programs that support the overall business objectives and foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Oversee recruitment, talent acquisition, and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent.
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
  • Implement and maintain compensation and benefits programs that are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Lead initiatives to promote employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Develop and oversee training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
  • Manage HR budgets and resources effectively.
  • Monitor HR metrics and analyze data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
  • Partner with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with business strategy.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies and programs.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
