Job Summary

Harbor Health is seeking a visionary Human Resources Director to lead and elevate our people operations. This role combines high-level strategic planning with oversight of practical, day-to-day HR management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive people strategy aligned with our business goals and OKRs
  • Partner with leadership to drive organizational effectiveness and cultural initiatives
  • Design and execute innovative talent development and retention strategies
  • Administer a performance management framework that fosters high performance and engagement
  • Oversee core HR functions including benefits administration and leave management
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Maintain up-to-date HR policies, employee handbook, and job descriptions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced or startup environment
  • 3+ years of management experience
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR initiatives with organizational goals
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Proven track record of leading HR transformations and change management initiatives
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decision-making
  • Adaptability and comfort with ambiguity in a rapidly changing environment
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
  • Experience in the healthcare industry
  • Advanced degree or professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR)
  • Experience with high-growth startups
