Job Overview

KCs Restaurant & Pub is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our high-volume kitchen team. This is a full-time position requiring approximately 35-40 hours per week, including nights and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
  • Cook and plate menu items accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation procedures.
Requirements:
  • At least one year of experience as a line cook.
  • Able to lift at least 40 pounds.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to cook burgers and meats to specific temperatures.
  • Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Understanding of food safety practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Food handling experience.
  • Cooking techniques expertise.
  • Assistance in kitchen operations.
  • Knowledge of Food safety standards.
Working Conditions:

This role requires working in a fast-paced kitchen environment with the ability to work variable shifts, including nights and weekends. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is $17.00-$19.00 per hour. The estimated annual salary is approximately $35,360-$39,520 per year. We also offer ongoing training programs, opportunities for advancement, and a fun and dynamic work environment.
