Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
1. **Event Management**
- Plan and execute multiple events simultaneously, focusing on children's parties and creative classes.
- Foster a fun and imaginative environment for clients of all ages, from young children to adults.
- Guide participants through craft projects, including face painting and other interactive activities.
- Coordinate additional event features such as goody bags and balloons, adhering to company standards.
- Maintain clear communication with clients and team members regarding event details.
- Adapt event plans based on client feedback and requirements.
- Develop contingency plans to address any unforeseen circumstances.
- Ensure overall client satisfaction during scheduled events.
- Uphold cleanliness and safety protocols before, during, and after each event.

2. **Customer Engagement**
- Assist customers in locating products and provide tailored solutions to enhance their shopping experience.
- Deliver a prompt and friendly checkout service.
- Promote the benefits of the Rewards program and assist with enrollments.
- Educate customers about the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
- Support Omni-channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
- Participate in inventory management tasks, including stocking and planogram processes.
- Maintain merchandise organization and store presentation.
- Engage in store cleanliness activities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests.

Preferred Qualifications
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality with a passion for customer service.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively manage stress in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven experience in organizing events, particularly those involving children.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and strong organizational skills.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the store.
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
- Capability to lift heavy items and access high shelves using appropriate equipment.

Work Environment
- Public retail setting with climate-controlled areas; some outdoor tasks may be required.
- Work hours may include evenings, weekends, and early mornings.
