Transportation Qualifications Coordinator

**Job Summary**
The Driver Qualifications Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the compliance and safety of Warren Transport's contracted drivers. This position involves processing drivers through the qualification and onboarding process, which includes building required files, tracking renewal reminders, and assisting contractors with insurance sign-ups.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Process contractor questionnaires and send out approval or denial letters.
- Build Driver Qualification files within LME by scanning paperwork.
- Scan into appropriate driver files new CDLs, violation and review forms, and safety letters.
- Send out monthly CDL renewal reminders and enter returned CDL information into LME.
- Send out yearly review letters for V&R forms and run MVRs.
- Issue passenger authorization letters.
- Work with contractors through the insurance sign-up process to ensure tractors are in compliance with DOT regulations and company policy.
- Cancel insurance on terminated contractors.
- Balance monthly insurance invoices and forward results to the accounting department and insurance representatives.
- Update spreadsheets tracking new contractors and terminated contractors.
- Assist with Independent Contractor Operating Agreements (ICOA).
- Perform other duties, tasks, or responsibilities as assigned.
- Assist the Driver Qualification Supervisor as needed.
- Send out renewal reminders for DOT physicals, enter returned information in LME, and check the National Registry for doctor's certification.
- Run yearly Clearinghouse Queries.
**Requirements**
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong phone etiquette.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
**Working Conditions**
This role operates in a professional office environment. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required.
