We are currently seeking dedicated Unarmed Security Specialists to cover various shifts at locations throughout the western suburbs.
Key Responsibilities:
The duties of Unarmed Security Specialists encompass, but are not limited to:
• Delivering outstanding customer service to all individuals encountered during shifts, including providing directions and general information.
• Managing access for guests, visitors, or vendors as necessary.
• Observing security surveillance systems and conducting patrols to prevent theft and ensure a secure environment.
• Keeping precise and detailed logs regarding individuals or property, including packages.
• Responding to incidents, including emergencies, and documenting data for management review.
• Performing additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Capable of obtaining and maintaining a valid IL PERC license, fulfilling state training requirements.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Able to meet the physical demands of the role, which may include lifting over 50 lbs, conducting foot patrols, navigating stairs, and working in various weather conditions.
• Must possess a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
• At least one year of experience in security or in customer service, retail, hospitality, or restaurant sectors.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
