Position: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Hanna, Brophy, Maclean, Mcaleer & Jensen, LLP, a leading firm in workers' compensation defense, is seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. We leverage advanced technology in a collaborative environment that fosters open dialogue and innovative solutions.
This role will initially require in-office attendance, with the potential for a hybrid work arrangement following the completion of training. The selected candidate must be prepared to attend the office for training sessions, meetings, and other assignments as necessary.
Key Responsibilities in Accounts Receivable & Collections:
- Generate and distribute PDF invoices using the Aderant Billing module.
- Deliver invoices to clients through various channels including paper, email, and eFax.
- Conduct thorough research on checks.
- Follow up on outstanding paper invoices.
- Investigate the status of invoice uploads on eBill platforms.
- Analyze PPD accounts receivable reductions on eBill sites.
- Address inquiries related to InvoicePrep/Frontline appeals.
- Allocate ACH and check payments accurately.
- Process matter credit applications.
- Handle cancellations and reversals of applications as needed.
Key Responsibilities in Accounts Payable:
- Manage vendor invoices through eBill platforms.
- Request the issuance of check refunds.
- Cancel credit requests for returned funds as per bank notifications.
- Request copies of checks not available in the system.
- Inquire about the clearance status of checks.
- Complete missing claim numbers in Aderant when necessary.
- Prepare affidavits for lost check payments.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree (Mandatory).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable (Mandatory).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
