POSITION SUMMARY AND REQUIREMENTS:


Penn State Behrend's Office of Community and Workforce Programs is looking for a part-time adjunct instructor for the Clinical Medical Assistant program, focusing on classroom training.

The course will be conducted in person two evenings a week for a duration of 18 weeks, complemented by an online component for independent student work.

This role will require approximately 160 total hours of commitment, including:

  • Preparing lectures and practical demonstrations for classroom instruction
  • Assigning coursework outside of class
  • Monitoring student progress and attendance

Demonstrating customer service skills and professionalism is essential. Candidates must be Certified Medical Assistants with a minimum of five years of relevant experience. Preference will be given to those with prior teaching experience in an educational environment.
