POSITION OVERVIEW AND REQUIREMENTS:

The School of Science at Penn State Behrend is seeking part-time instructors in Mathematics Pedagogy. Responsibilities may include teaching courses related to mathematics education, curriculum development, and field supervision. These roles are contingent upon student enrollment; classes with fewer than 9 students may be subject to cancellation. Competitive compensation is offered. Duties involve utilizing a syllabus and instructional materials sanctioned by the School of Science to deliver courses within our undergraduate programs.

A Master of Science degree or higher is mandatory; candidates should demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence, including the integration of contemporary technology, and show a dedication to collaborative work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Applicants are required to submit a cover letter outlining their qualifications, a current curriculum vitae, and the contact information of two references who can attest to their teaching capabilities.
