Bartender Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests and provide a fun and exciting experience.
  • Have working knowledge of our menu and be able to pair beer and cocktails with menu items.
  • Expertly craft cocktails according to San Pedro Fish Market recipes.
  • Follow city, state, federal, and Company guidelines for serving alcoholic beverages, including verifying age and reporting invalid IDs.
  • Ability to handle and accurately operate a POS system.
  • Promptly address guest service issues and refer guests to management when necessary.
  • Keep bar area clean and orderly.
  • Perform opening, closing, and side work, ensuring accurate and efficient completion of checklists.
  • Comply with all city, state, federal, and Company food and beverage regulations, alcohol control policies, sanitation guidelines, and safety policies.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year related experience in a similar work environment.
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred.
  • Current Food Handler's Card and RBS Certification.
