Mixology Specialist

O'Connell's in Long Beach is seeking a skilled bartender to provide exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assess customer needs and preferences, making recommendations to enhance their experience.
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other beverages.
• Plan and present the bar menu to ensure a diverse and appealing selection.
• Verify customer identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies to maintain a well-stocked and organized bar area.
• Provide exceptional customer service, focusing on guest satisfaction and experience.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations to ensure a safe and healthy environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a bartender, with a strong track record of providing excellent service.
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks, with a focus on quality and presentation.
• Knowledge of a second language is a plus, but not required.
• Positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area.
• Relevant training certificate, such as TIPS or Bartender's Certification.
