As an Installation Technician, you will engage in the assembly and deployment of automotive testing systems tailored for both external and internal clientele.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Receive and systematically organize components essential for automotive testing systems.
- Maintain accurate inventory documentation to ensure seamless operations.
- Collaborate with suppliers to obtain timely updates regarding the status and delivery of ordered materials, including shipping logistics.
- Conduct inspections of parts as necessary, utilizing precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.
- Oversee and facilitate system assemblies and installations at designated facilities.
- Work alongside vendors to manage installations and equipment rigging effectively.
- Engage with clients to ensure proper site preparation, including labor and power requirements.
- Operate in proximity to industrial machinery while adhering to relevant safety protocols in accordance with OSHA and other applicable standards.
