Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Blain's Farm & Fleet. As a Service Center Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of services and duties in our Automotive Service Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for our customers
  • Repair and install tires, balance wheels, and install batteries, head lamps, and other basic automotive parts
  • Perform oil changes, brake system repair, and repair starting and charging systems
  • Steering and Suspension, shock/strut installation, alignments, and installation of trailer hitches and wiring
  • Other duties assigned with progressive on-the-job training
Requirements
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Must have great communication skills
  • Ability to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks
  • Ability to read and speak English
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Prior auto repair experience is preferred
  • Prior retail experience preferred
