Job Title: Residential Property Manager

AKAM Living Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Residential Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a 500-unit Cooperative. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, project coordination, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and implement strategic plans, budgets, and financial reports for the property.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the Board of Directors, shareholders, and unit owners.
  • Manage and supervise the day-to-day activities of the door persons, maintenance staff, and other building staff.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the building.
  • Oversee all repairs, apartment alterations, and capital improvements.
  • Identify and negotiate with vendors for improvement projects.
  • Manage emergency situations and ensure the building is prepared for crisis management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a residential manager of a large condominium and cooperative property.
  • Knowledge and experience with financial accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting.
  • Hands-on experience with capital improvement construction projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite programs.
  • Ability to delegate work and manage others.
