Technical Specialist

SGS Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Technical Associate to join our Research and Development team.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct hands-on lab work, focusing on panel and wafer-level processing techniques, and explore advanced methods for unique applications.
- Assume responsibility for executing project workflows, including laminations, coatings, lithography, and cure techniques, as well as thermal and mechanical analysis.
- Support prototyping and optimization development initiatives relevant to strategic goals.
- Collaborate with internal analytical teams to drive characterization and performance data collection and analysis.
- Communicate research findings to team members with varying technical backgrounds.
- Work effectively on cross-functional and global teams, including Asia-based customers and commercial points of contact.
- Maintain focus on personal and process safety, product integrity, and environmental stewardship.
- Bachelor's or Associate degree in a technical or scientific field with industrial lab experience.
- 1-2 years of hands-on industrial experience in a semiconductor fab or similar environment.
- Familiarity with material characterization, wafer-level metrology, and/or thin film analysis.
- Experience with thermal and mechanical analysis tools and techniques.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- English fluency.
- Previous industrial wet lab experience in formulation, film casting, and lamination.
- Hands-on fab experience, including wafer handling, coating, lithography, and metrology.
- Expertise with analytical equipment, including chemical, mechanical, and thermal analysis.
- Curiosity and enthusiasm to learn beyond assignments, with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Experience with applications testing for quality control and reliability testing.
