Your Role

We are in search of a talented and experienced Copywriter to enhance our vibrant marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the marketing editorial calendar at Propeller. By collaborating with various experts within the organization, you will develop, review, and publish authoritative and technical content. Your contributions will be vital in bringing our brand strategy to fruition, driving demand generation, and facilitating sales discussions. You will play a crucial role in setting stylistic standards, educating internal teams on best practices, and establishing editorial processes that ensure consistency across the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize the brand strategy to develop a comprehensive editorial calendar that outlines content topics, resources, and timelines. Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to identify and create impactful enablement materials.
  • Manage content projects from conception to launch, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to produce authoritative content that educates, engages, and converts our target audience, solidifying Propeller's position as a market leader.
  • Maintain Propeller's content style guide, serving as the authority on brand voice and tone, ensuring it is regularly updated and promoted internally.
  • Edit and proofread content for grammatical accuracy, style consistency, and factual correctness.
  • Seamlessly adapt to various channels and formats, transitioning from concise ad copy and video scripts to detailed whitepapers and documentation.
  • Create high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized content, including blog posts, articles, case studies, whitepapers, ebooks, infographics, videos, and social media content.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to define and enhance Propeller's social media presence, optimizing content for search engines to increase organic traffic.
  • Act as both a content creator and project manager for global agency and freelance content production as necessary.
  • Monitor content performance metrics, analyze data, and make informed decisions to enhance content effectiveness.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field, along with 3+ years of relevant experience. Proven experience as a Copywriter is essential, particularly in crafting technical content for diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional storytelling skills with the ability to engage and connect with the audience.
  • Proactive mindset with strategic thinking and the ability to generate innovative content ideas while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Familiarity with tools like Asana and Trello is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of content marketing principles, strategies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in WordPress and other content management systems (CMS).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and incorporate feedback to enhance content quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in content creation within the construction industry and/or knowledge of GIS, geospatial, or GPS technology is a significant advantage.
