Your Role
We are in search of a talented and experienced Copywriter to enhance our vibrant marketing department. In this role, you will take charge of the marketing editorial calendar at Propeller. Collaborating with various experts across the organization, you will create, review, and publish authoritative technical content. Your contributions will be instrumental in bringing our brand vision to fruition, driving demand generation, and facilitating sales discussions. You will be key in setting stylistic guidelines, educating internal teams on best practices, and ensuring consistency across all content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop an integrated editorial calendar aligned with our brand strategy, detailing content topics, resources, and timelines. Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to create impactful enablement materials.
- Oversee content projects from conception to launch, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality.
- Work closely with subject matter experts to produce authoritative content that educates and engages our target audience, positioning Propeller as a leader in the market.
- Manage Propeller's content style guide, serving as the authority on brand voice and tone, ensuring it is regularly updated and promoted internally.
- Edit and proofread content for grammatical accuracy, style consistency, and factual correctness.
- Seamlessly transition between various formats, from concise advertising copy and video scripts to detailed technical documents and whitepapers.
- Create high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized content, including blog posts, articles, case studies, whitepapers, ebooks, infographics, videos, and social media content.
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to enhance Propeller's social media presence, optimizing content for search engines to boost organic traffic.
- Act as both a content creator and project manager for global agency and freelance content production as required.
- Analyze content performance metrics, leveraging data to enhance content effectiveness.
Your Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field, along with 3+ years of relevant experience. Proven experience as a Copywriter is essential, particularly in creating technical content for diverse audiences.
- Adept storyteller with the ability to engage and resonate with the audience.
- Possess an ownership mindset, capable of strategic thinking and generating innovative content ideas that meet high-quality standards.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with a track record of meeting deadlines. Familiarity with tools like Asana and Trello is preferred.
- Solid understanding of content marketing principles, strategies, and best practices.
- Proficient in WordPress and other content management systems (CMS).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively incorporate feedback to enhance content quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in content creation within the construction industry and/or familiarity with GIS, geospatial, or GPS technologies is a significant advantage.
