Job Summary:

Medix Life Sciences is seeking a highly skilled System Integration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for integrating new hardware and complex systems, ensuring seamless functionality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hardware and Software Integration: Integrate new hardware and complex systems, including laboratory instrumentation with data collection software, EMS/BMS equipment & control/monitoring software.
  • System Validation: Determine that the outcome of the integration has met the organization's needs.
  • Technical Documentation: Create and provide technical documentation explaining upcoming or existing integrations to non-technical individuals.
  • System Maintenance: Review diagnostics, assess the functionality and efficiency of systems, and monitor security certificates and company compliance of requirements.
  • Technical Support: Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problems.
  • Software and Hardware Updates: Install and update company software and hardware as needed.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Networking/Communication Sciences, and/or Software Engineering.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in equipment software integration or IT networking.
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience working at a manufacturing company is required due to the need for BMS and EMS software integration experience.
  • Skills: Manufacturing system integration or automation integration, integrating software into BMS and EMS, and understanding software functionality (C++ programming language).

Location: Plano, TX

Pay: Competitive hourly rate

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Duration: 6 months
