At InLine, we are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Wire Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves working on various transportation and infrastructure projects, ensuring the safe installation of electric and fiber optic wire.

About the Role:

  • Pull and install electric and fiber optic wire into underground conduits in accordance with project specifications.
  • Collaborate with field teams to ensure wire is properly secured and meets all safety requirements.
  • Assist in preparing job sites, including setting up pulling equipment and tools.
  • Handle and pull wire safely and efficiently, minimizing damage to the wire or conduits.
  • Read and interpret basic wiring diagrams, plans, and work orders.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all job sites.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers and team leaders to ensure timely completion of wire installations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience pulling electric and/or fiber optic wire through underground conduits is highly valued.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic wiring diagrams and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with safety practices and regulations related to wire pulling.
  • Knowledge of operating MiniX and Skid Steers is an asset.
  • Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The estimated annual salary for this position is $55,000 - $70,000, depending on experience.
