**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Inspector III to join our team at Johnson Controls. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in life safety systems, including electrical and sprinkler systems.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Inspect, test, service, and maintain life safety product lines, including electrical and sprinkler systems.
  • Work with low voltage wiring and interpret technical schematics and manuals while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Provide training to junior staff and maintain a structured inspection schedule to ensure compliance and timely service delivery.

**Requirements:**

  • 2-5 years documented service experience in fire alarm or fire sprinkler
  • Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
  • Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer requirements.
  • Able to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
  • Successful completion of the Inspector Entrée Course (Electrical or Sprinkler).
  • Self-starter who can work with little to no supervision.
