About the Job

This is a 12-hour night shift position with 36 hours per week. Pay package will be based on these parameters with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform electroencephalograms (EEGs) to measure and record electrical activity in the brain
  • Review patient medical history and physician orders to determine the appropriate EEG procedure
  • Prepare and check EEG equipment, ensuring correct functionality and calibration
  • Clean and prepare patients' scalps by removing oils, gels, or lotions that may affect electrode attachment
  • Apply electrodes to patients' scalps using conductive gel or paste to ensure proper electrical contact
  • Monitor patients during the EEG procedure to ensure proper electrode placement and signal quality
  • Operate EEG equipment, ensuring accurate recording of the brain's electrical activity
