Key Responsibilities:- Provide patient care in outpatient physician practice under the direction of licensed healthcare professionals.
- Assist with clinical and clerical duties to ensure optimal patient experience.
- Welcomes patients, verifies information, and prepares them for examinations.
- Supports healthcare providers during examinations, prepares laboratory specimens, and performs basic laboratory tests.
- Schedules hospital procedures, surgeries, and tests, and handles phone calls and messages.
- Maintains clinical flow, keeps supplies ready, and troubleshoots equipment issues.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certification or Diploma from accredited Medical Assistant school/program.
- National Certification required.
- Two years of job experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills and effective communication skills.
