Your Role:
As the Lead Technical Account Manager (TAM Lead), you will oversee a team of Technical Account Managers, guiding them to help clients maximize the benefits of public cloud technologies. This role involves a mix of leadership and hands-on engagement, where you will also drive departmental initiatives and support team development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set and monitor monthly and quarterly KPIs, coaching your team to surpass these targets.
  • Manage daily operations and performance of the team, ensuring business KPIs are met.
  • Standardize communication and outreach strategies between DoiT and our clients.
  • Identify training needs and provide coaching on DoiT processes, sales techniques, and public cloud knowledge.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for technical and business-related challenges.
  • Collaborate with the DoiT Cloud Reliability Engineering team and vendor support to ensure effective technical support and project management.
  • Work with Account Management leadership to deliver quarterly business reviews to cloud vendors and clients.
  • Template customer reviews, tracking project timelines and feedback on DoiT's support.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of DoiT Cloud Products.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and understanding of customer plans.
  • Support the Central/East Coast territory, including TAMs and clients in these time zones.
  • Assist in talent acquisition and evaluation across North America.
  • Build and nurture relationships with strategic clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Effectively position Google Cloud Platform and/or AWS solutions within client organizations.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Extensive technical experience with at least associate-level certifications and a minimum of 5 years in AWS, GCP, or other major public cloud platforms.
  • In-depth understanding of the FinOps framework and FinOps Practitioner certification.
  • Strong technical skills to engage effectively with DoiT and vendor technical teams.
  • Ability to adapt swiftly to the evolving public cloud landscape.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence a team.
  • Strong presence in customer-facing situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
