Job Description

Performance Contracting is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Financial Operations Intern. This is an excellent opportunity for a college student to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Analysis: Assist in analyzing the company's financial performance by preparing and reviewing income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts by working with stakeholders within the business and understanding project flows and timelines.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in special finance projects and initiatives as needed, providing valuable contributions to the team.
Requirements:
  • Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience: Basic understanding of accounting principles and ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Education: Preferred Junior or Senior level completion of program.
  • Skills: Currently pursuing a concentration in construction or related field.
