We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist to help us manage our payroll operations in San Francisco, CA.

About the Job:

The ideal candidate will work closely with the Accounting Manager to perform various accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliation, payroll, and data entry.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Process semi-monthly and on-demand payrolls, ensuring accurate data collection and system maintenance.
  2. Support the month-end and year-end financial closing process by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
  3. Manage Paid Time Off (PTO) information and other management reports.
  4. Provide administrative assistance to employees and supervisors.
  5. Analyze and resolve budget variance issues related to personnel costs.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is essential.
  • At least 2 years of accounting experience is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, is necessary.
  • Experience with computerized accounting systems is an asset.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills are vital.
Compensation and Perks:

$75-80K/year, depending on experience, plus benefits.
