About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Director of Business Development and Growth to join our team at DLP Capital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, establishing new relationships, and identifying new avenues of growth for our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold-calling, and other sales activities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients, including real estate investors, real estate brokerages, lending brokers, builders, outdoor RV, and multi-family operators.
  • Work closely with our marketing team to ensure proper branding and messaging of all business development activity.
  • Prioritize workday around prospecting, business development, and origination of loans, LOC's, and preferred equity for our core clients.
  • Attend industry and real estate investor events to present to real estate investors, real estate brokerages, lending brokers, builders, outdoor RV, and multi-family operators.
  • Drive attendance and new membership signup at Elite and Prosperity Events.
  • Drive sponsor EES engagement and utilization, including attending live and virtual events, compass day, EES tools, etc. for those who opt in.
  • Update and maintain accuracy of calling reports, logs, and information on leads, contacts, and opportunities in CRM (Salesforce, Hubspot).
Requirements
  • 10+ years of business development experience.
  • Experience in commercial real estate capital stack placements.
  • Network of industry contacts within the multifamily, outdoor RV, and home builder communities.
  • Knowledge of private capital and institutional investor fund raising.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team to provide a WOW experience to our sponsors.
