We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Specialist to join our team at IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of manufacturing tasks, producing high-quality diagnostic animal products, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a variety of machines on a rotating basis, including set-up, operation, clean-up, changeover, troubleshooting, and minor repair.
- Read, interpret, and apply manufacturing and quality control documents, technical procedures, and government regulations.
- Work collaboratively with a team to achieve production goals and objectives.
- Provide production and process training to other employees as needed.
- Meet physical requirements of the production floor, including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasional climbing, kneeling, or bending.
- High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1+ years of production and/or manufacturing experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure.
