About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Administration Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Lafayette Federal Credit Union. As a key member of our Finance Department, you will provide administrative support to our Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and ensure the smooth operation of our financial functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the CFO's calendar, coordinate logistics for meetings, and ensure schedules are accurately updated.
  • Maintain an organized and accurate list of incoming and pending meeting requests and prioritize scheduling.
  • Prepare talking points and briefing materials for the CFO's meetings and arrange premeeting briefings as needed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the CFO, screening and directing incoming emails and correspondence in a professional manner.
  • Coordinate the CFO's travel arrangements, including addressing special needs and ensuring thorough documentation and recordkeeping.
  • Process business transactions for the CFO, including review and approval of travel expense reports and Mastercard statements.
  • Ensure all trips adhere to corporate policies and budget considerations.
  • Update, proofread, and coordinate the timely submission of financials in the board meeting and executive meeting minutes.
  • Serve as the liaison between the CFO's Office and the CEO's Office.
  • Coordinate all internal Finance Department meetings, including the monthly Finance Managers meetings.
  • Archiving all meeting minutes according to internal requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Proven experience as an executive assistant or similar role, supporting C-level executives in a corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Prior experience in the finance or accounting industry is preferred.
