A reputable Healthcare Corporation is seeking a dedicated Grievance and Appeals Coordinator to join their team.

Key Details:

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (staggered shifts)
  • Work Environment: Initially remote with plans to transition to an office setting
  • Compensation: $22 per hour
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package available after 90 days of employment, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Engage with members to address their concerns
  • Document interactions, conduct research, and prepare written responses for members
  • Draft formal correspondence for review and approval

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma is mandatory
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the healthcare sector
  • Attendance is essential
  • Strong analytical and research capabilities
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficient in written analysis and critical thinking

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in grievance and appeals processes is advantageous
  • Background in medical management, utilization management, or operations within a medical office is preferred

This role is pivotal in ensuring effective communication and resolution of member grievances within the healthcare system.
