**Position Summary**

The Early Childhood Education Specialist will be instrumental in providing tailored education, training, and expert consultation on best practices within the framework of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Part C. This position is designed to support the professional development of early intervention educators and interdisciplinary professionals engaged in early childhood education.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Collaborate with state leaders to conduct educational needs assessments and review resources to develop a robust professional development system.
- Deliver group and individualized training sessions, offering technical advice and consultation on early intervention practices, both in-person and virtually.
- Engage with early intervention teams, school districts, and community partners to promote effective educational strategies.
- Participate in interagency meetings, advisory boards, and strategic planning efforts aimed at improving educational outcomes for children with disabilities.

**Qualifications**

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education and early intervention practices. Essential qualifications include:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum of three years of experience in related roles.
- Knowledge of IDEA Part C and family-centered practices.
- Experience in providing training and consultation to diverse groups.
