Early Childhood Education Specialist

Albuquerque Nursery School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Education Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging lesson plans, fostering a safe and nurturing environment, and collaborating with colleagues to provide a high-quality educational experience for our young students.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Conduct teacher-parent conferences and maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress.
- Provide a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive and supportive classroom environment.
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (minimum of 6 credit hours per semester).
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Familiarity with literacy education strategies for young children.
- Understanding of special education needs and accommodations for diverse learners.
- Knowledge of child welfare regulations and safety protocols.
