Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with users and industry experts to identify primary use cases and workflows.
  • Contribute to the design and usability of ArcGIS Pro AI Copilot, ensuring seamless user experiences.
  • Develop and implement test cases, validating bug fixes and ensuring the stability of the software.
  • Maintain, monitor, and grow the automated test suite, ensuring its effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot production issues in current and past software versions, providing timely solutions.
  • Work with feature teams to infuse Copilot capabilities across the ArcGIS Platform, driving innovation and growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in AI and application development frameworks, applying this knowledge to drive progress.
  • Share and distribute workflows and projects through samples, tutorials, blog articles, videos, and help documentation, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience using an application development language (Python, C#).
  • Knowledge of AI and Machine Learning concepts, with a focus on NLP and vision.
  • Experience in building training datasets and fine-tuning/training AI models, with a strong understanding of software development processes.
  • Ability to work well in a highly collaborative environment, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Bachelor's in GIS, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
Recommended Qualifications
  • Experience with natural language processing and generative models, with a focus on applying this knowledge to drive innovation.
  • Experience in building AI applications using frameworks such as Semantic Kernel or LangChain, with a strong understanding of software development processes.
  • Familiarity with Esri ArcGIS platform technologies, with a focus on driving growth and innovation.
  • Experience with cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, with a strong understanding of software development processes.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design techniques, with a focus on creating seamless user experiences.
  • Master's in GIS, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, with a focus on driving innovation and growth.

Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy, with a reasonable estimate of the base salary range being $74,984—$128,544 USD.
