Overview

Esri is seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer II to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative software product capabilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and building new software product capabilities that integrate graph analytics into the ArcGIS platform.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience in working with graph databases and network analysis. You will work closely with a diverse group of engineers and developers to implement creative solutions to complex problems.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with users and industry experts to identify user requirements and customer workflows
  • Work with top software engineers to envision, design, build, test, release, and support Desktop and Enterprise products
  • Develop and test ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise functionality related to graph databases, networks, and link analysis capabilities
  • Play a major part in the development process by determining product quality and release readiness

Requirements
  • 2+ years of software testing experience using an application development language, such as C++, C#, Java, JS, and/or Python
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and tasks as needed in a fast-paced work environment
  • Bachelor's in computer science, engineering, GIS, data science, network science, mathematics, or related field
Recommended Qualifications
  • Knowledge of ArcGIS and online services, or other GIS products
  • Experience with graph and relational databases
  • Experience with network or link analysis workflows
  • Experience writing technical documents for a variety of audiences
  • Master's in computer science, engineering, GIS, data science, network science, mathematics, or related field

Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is $74,984—$128,544 USD.
