Product Engineer II

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer II to join our team at Esri. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality content that supports our ArcGIS imagery software products.
Key Responsibilities- Design, create, and publish content, such as documentation, recommended workflows, videos, blogs, use case studies, and other media.
- Review and edit imagery workflows and solutions documentation and technical papers.
- Write and publish articles on ArcGIS Blog focusing on imagery and remote sensing.
- Design, author, and publish tutorials, "How To," "Shorts," and workflow videos for platforms, such as YouTube.
- Review and respond to imagery and remote sensing questions on ArcGIS forums and at conferences.
- Work with the Esri Story Maps team to define topics for imagery related stories.
- Work with the ArcGIS Living Atlas team to define imagery related cartographic web maps.
- Work with the Esri Tutorials team to help design new imagery related tutorials and tutorial series.
- Work with the Esri Academy team to write and develop labs and courses.
- 2+ years of GIS and/or remote sensing/image processing and/or photogrammetry/image analysis experience.
- 1+ year of experience with ArcGIS products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Adept at distilling complex topics into understandable software documentation.
- Proficiency in conveying complex technical information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to create useful content which helps others be successful with ArcGIS.
- Ability to create tests to verify discrete functionality and specific workflow capabilities.
- Ability to manage detailed information and multi-task.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, geography, remote sensing, or related field.
- Experience writing technical user documentation or technical developer documentation.
- Experience designing modern web sites and/or pages.
- Experience creating multimedia content such as videos and podcasts.
- Experience in graphic designing figures for educational content.
- Master's degree in computer science, geography, remote sensing, or related field.

Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is $74,984—$128,544 USD.
