Lean Operations Manager

Adecco Permanent Recruitment is collaborating with a prominent manufacturing organization to identify a Continuous Improvement Manager for their facility.

The Continuous Improvement Manager will play a pivotal role in executing and supervising continuous improvement initiatives and Lean methodologies within the manufacturing environment to enhance operational efficiency, minimize waste, and boost productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply Lean methodologies such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S, and Kaizen to refine processes.
  • Recognize and eliminate non-value-added tasks to reduce waste.
  • Guide and educate teams on Lean practices while promoting a culture of ongoing improvement.
  • Track performance metrics and KPIs to assess the success of Lean initiatives.
  • Oversee Lean projects and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet goals.
  • Address operational challenges utilizing Lean tools and techniques.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in leading Lean manufacturing and process enhancement projects.
  • Over 10 years of experience in manufacturing settings, ideally with exposure to welding, painting, assembly, injection molding, or extrusion processes.
  • Certification in Six Sigma or Lean is preferred.
