The Continuous Improvement Manager will play a pivotal role in the execution and management of continuous improvement initiatives and Lean methodologies within the manufacturing facility, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, minimizing waste, and boosting overall productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply Lean methodologies such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S, and Kaizen to optimize workflows.
- Identify and eradicate non-value-adding activities to reduce waste.
- Lead and mentor teams on Lean principles while promoting a culture of ongoing improvement.
- Track performance indicators and metrics to assess the success of Lean initiatives.
- Oversee Lean projects and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet goals.
- Address operational challenges utilizing Lean tools and techniques.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
- Over 5 years of experience in leading Lean manufacturing and process enhancement projects.
- More than 10 years of experience in manufacturing settings, ideally with exposure to welding, painting, assembly, injection molding, or extrusion processes.
- Certification in Six Sigma or Lean methodologies is preferred.
